Dearest friends,

We hope you all had a fantastic time celebrating our Civil Partnership on 22nd July 2017 - we certainly did!!

Thank you all so much for coming and making it such a special day - well actually - a special week!

Huge thanks to all those who helped set everything up - and clear it all away - both tasks being phenomenal.

And special thanks to all the lovely people who brought delicious food, drink and  bounteous gifts, and many more who contributed so generously to the Short&Forward Tree Fund - many of whom were unable to come to the event - and which has reached an incredible grand total of £1400! We have already ordered more fruit trees and are busily planning the new hedgerow rejuvenation - it's really exciting!!

We've been unbelievably busy ever since the event - so please no-one think that we have forgotten you - we hope to catch up with all of you as time gets less pressing, and will send you all proper thank you's in the post, so please, if you can, send us your snail mail addresses to foot.slope.soap@gmail.com.

Meanwhile, we will be uploading movies and pictures over the next few weeks - they are coming in thick and fast, but our internet is the slowest in history, so it will be some time before they're all loaded.

Stuart Mitchell's shot and edited a great little video - Alice and Louise 2017 - and hopefully a URL for it will go into this website soon.. 

We expect that the MASS PHOTOs will take some months at least to materialise - it's a lot of work, and Liz Nicol is also very busy - so don't hold your breath - but we're certain it'll be well worth the wait!
